Challenges of Contemporary Knowledge-Based Economy, Alba-Iulia/Romania

University “1 Decembrie 1918” of Alba Iulia, Faculty of Science in collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Institute of National Economy (Romanian Academy) and the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania organize the 5th edition of ICMEA with the theme: „Contemporary Economies: New Realities, New Directions”.

We are inviting you to submit original and high-quality studies which disseminate scientific and economical research findings. The following sections will be included:

* Accounting;
* Audit and Corporate Governance;
* Financial Analysis;
* Finance;
* Economics;
* Management;
* Marketing;
* Doctoral Colloquium.

There will be plenary lectures and communications in sections. Authors are invited to submit theoretical and empirical contributions, all of them being double-blind peer-review. Abstracts of all lectures will be included in the conference materials.
http://www.uab.ro/icmea/ Only full papers written in English can be submitted to the conference. Full papers should be submitted electronically on the conference website before 11 september 2011. Authors will be informed whether their paper has been accepted for presentation before 10 october 2011.
