KTH School of Chemical Science and Engineering seeks a PhD student in Biocomposites

Research project
The Division of Biocomposites in the Department of Fiber and Polymer Technology announces a PhD-position . The aim of the project is to develop our understanding of nanostructured biocomposites based on cellulose nanofibers. We are particularly interested in the application of functional cellulose nanomaterials in nanostructured devices. Examples of materials previously developed include cellulose nanopaper, aerogels, foams and organic/inorganic hybrids.

Qualifications
A suitable background for this position is a degree in Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, Engineering Physics or related field. It is a merit, although not a requirement, to have previous experience or training in polymeric materials.

The successful applicant should be strongly motivated for doctoral studies, possess cooperative and communicative skills, ability for independent work and have good analytical skills.
